A Real Go-Getter

What is it that makes some people go-getters while others are just plain lazy? I wouldn't call myself lazy per se, but I would like to be a little more...productive. It seems like I can get stuf done at work that needs to get done, but when it comes to home, I just don't get to everything I need to get to--even when I have the time.

How do I MAKE myself have a TYPE A personality? I always have such good intentions of getting stuff done around the house: cleaning, organizing, crafting, spending time with kids, exercising, reading, catching up on movies or shows... but hardly any of it seems to get done. What is up with that, and how to I change it...without having to do too much. I'm not good with commitment!

Okay, so my answer is a little slow, but here it is:

I think part of the secret is to let go of trying to do things perfectly and just get things done. We don't have to be amazing homekeepers and chefs, and we don't have to be marathon fit. But we feel the pressure to be, so we don't enjoy it.

Do what you enjoy and you'll do it well, for the things you have to do, but don't really like, just do as much as need, then leave it. Get back to what you enjoy.
